iTradeNetwork is currently seeking a talented, senior-level Oracle Database Administrator. The ideal candidate will have experience with concurrent and highly available distributed Oracle systems. Candidates should have a proven ability to rapidly master complex new skills and concepts, as well as the ability to work independently and self-motivate. Successful candidates for this position will have the ability to rapidly troubleshoot complex technical problems. Excellent interpersonal communication skills are required.
The successful candidate will primarily have responsibility for operations and administration of 24x7 environment, as well as scalability, capacity planning, design and tuning. These responsibilities require coverage and response to systems alerts during after-hour periods. Specific database performance issues, error messages or service problems will be routed directly to the Database Administrator. Candidates should have excellent Unix skills and a grasp of fundamental computing concepts such as system calls, memory management and program debugging.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years Oracle DBA experience, 5+ years in a 24/7/365 environment
- Experience must include advanced skills in Oracle 9i and 10g design, administration, performance optimization, PL/SQL, schema design, troubleshooting, data conversion and data warehousing
- Experience in maintaining large-scale database-driven Internet applications using Oracle as the back-end
- Primary point of contact duties for 24/7 on-call DBA tasks
- Oracle Data Warehousing experience a plus
- Oracle Data Guard experience a plus
- Exceptional resourcefulness and problem solving skills
- Experience managing complex projects
- Veritas VCS and Storage Foundation experience helpful

iTradeNetwork is currently seeking a talented, responsible, Sr. Network Engineer to join us in the 24x7 monitoring, maintenance and administration of our production, corporate and testing network infrastructure. The qualified applicant will also have the necessary skills to design and implement new network infrastructure for our multi-location highly available service-oriented operations. The production and corporate network environment consists of three bay area locations predominately using Cisco network equipment, Unix (Solaris 9) and Linux (Red Hat) servers, and Windows-based servers. Candidates should be familiar with LAN/WAN, VPN, content-based load balancing, security/firewall, and intrusion detection technology. These responsibilities require coverage and response to systems alerts during after-hour periods. Candidates should have a proven ability to rapidly master complex new skills and concepts, as well as the ability to work independently and self-motivate. The candidate must be organized and detail oriented. The ability to document work and processes is critical.
