H-E-B AND ITRADENETWORK BUILD ON INITIAL SUCCESS AND MOVE TO ONLINE TRADING FOR FRESH COMMODITIES
Produce, Floral, and Meat Procurement in Production
Livermore, Ca January 16, 2003. H.E. Butt Grocery Company (H-E-B) has completed deployment and is in production with the iTradeNetwork (ITN) collaborative workflow solution for produce, floral and meat commodities. For Produce and Floral, the ITN Internet solution is integrated with H-E-B's procurement system and allows for real-time functionality including quotes, order negotiation; as well as processing, invoicing, invoice reconciliation and catalog management. Meat purchase orders are transmitted via ITN and are integrated to H-E-B's purchase order system.
