SUNKIST 'GOES-LIVE' WITH iTRADENETWORK
Livermore, CA. March 21, 2002. iTradeNetwork today announced the successful integration of iTradeNetwork (iTN) perishables procurement and logistics platform with Sunkist Growers' legacy system, a long-standing software business system developed and supported by Kirkey & Associates of Orlando, Florida. This real time electronic interface, employing industry standard transaction sets, is the result of a successful pilot program with iTN and one of Sunkist's large retail customers.
This integration was facilitated with the installation of iTradeNetwork's Distributed Integration Server (DIS) which provides secure data transport while using the Internet for infrastructure to facilitate the transfer. It allows Sunkist to successfully leverage the internet for document transport and electronic interface to its internal software business processes.
