ALBERTSONS SELECTS ITRADENETWORK'S LOGISTICS SOLUTION
Livermore, Ca. July 9, 2003. iTradeNetwork (ITN) today announced that Albertsons Inc. (NYSE:ABS) has selected ITN's Logistics e-commerce solution package to enhance the supermarket and drugstore retailer's Fresh Product program.
"We have been using ITN's Fresh Product Procurement package since 2001 and now will integrate the Logistics package into our system," said Tracy Bloedel, director of transportation for Albertsons. "As we focus on maximizing our return on capital investment, we are introducing solutions that give us the efficiencies needed to respond to a changing marketplace.
