ITRADENETWORK UPGRADES LOGISTICS MODULE TO INCLUDE APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING, ENHANCED LOAD TRACKING, AND EXCEPTION REPORTING
Livermore, CA. October 3, 2002. iTradeNetwork (ITN), further enhanced their product offerings by announcing today the addition of a fully automated (GPS) tracking system with new improved appointment scheduling and exception reporting. Appointment scheduling streamlines the pickup process, scheduling of appointments, and provides a single method for customers to view the schedule and potential shortfalls. The new exception reporting capability allows for improved efficiency by making the data more readily accessible and easier to use. The new load tracking module allows for real time tracking of the load through any satellite tracking system. This module is offered to customers who are licensing the ITN Logistics module.
"ITN continues to focus on giving our customers value added services by providing them the vital data they need for immediate analysis and decision making. ITN provides a single point of data collaboration between the supplier, cross-dock, carrier and delivery point (buyer) allowing all four parties to collaborate in real time. The carrier can schedule an appointment with the shipper, cross dock, and delivery point (buyer) simultaneously and track all information off the same system," said Robert Bonavito, CEO of iTradeNetwork.
