JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Marketing Operations Associate to be the driving force behind our go-to-market engine. In this role, you'll own the tools, data, and processes that keep Sales and Marketing running efficiently - from lead lifecycle management to campaign infrastructure and everything in between.
You'll be the technical backbone of our Marketing team: the person who makes sure our marketing automation platform is configured correctly, data flows cleanly across systems, campaigns launch without errors, and our GTM teams have the reporting they need to make smart, fast decisions. If you thrive on optimizing processes, improving visibility, and enabling teams to win, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Technology & Systems Ownership
- Serve as the primary administrator and technical owner of our Marketing Automation Platform (currently Marketo) - including smart campaign logic, program architecture, nurture streams, scoring models, template governance, and CRM sync management.
- Own and maintain the MAP-Salesforce integration: field mapping, sync rules, lead/contact object management, error monitoring, and resolution of sync failures.
- Administer and optimize the full GTM tech stack - including Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LeanData - ensuring tools are properly configured, integrated, and delivering value across Sales and Marketing.
- Evaluate the tech stack continuously, recommending improvements, new integrations, and consolidations that reduce friction and increase efficiency.
- Maintain thorough documentation of system architecture, field definitions, data flows, and operational processes for consistency and scalability.
Campaign Operations & Lead Lifecycle
- Own end-to-end campaign operations in our MAP - including email builds, landing page and form configuration, program setup, UTM tracking governance, nurture workflows, and pre-launch QA.
- Own the full lifecycle of Marketing and Programs lists - from initial build and segmentation (in our MAP, Excel, or Google Sheets) to governance, compliance, and GTM team enablement - continuously improving the process to reduce manual effort, ensure accuracy, and keep lists activation-ready at scale.
- Own the end-to-end lead lifecycle - from initial capture through MQL definition, lead scoring, routing via LeanData, Sales handoff, and recycling logic for unworked leads.
- Build and manage lead-to-account matching logic and target account lists to support ABM and outbound programs in collaboration with the SDR/BDR team.
- Own webinar and event tech integrations (e.g., Zoom Webinars, ON24) including registration flows, attendee sync, and post-event follow-up automation.
- Establish and enforce campaign taxonomy, naming conventions, and tagging standards to ensure accurate attribution and clean reporting.
Data Management & Compliance
- Own database health and hygiene across all marketing systems - including deduplication, field normalization, enrichment workflows via ZoomInfo, and segmentation accuracy.
- Ensure full compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM, and maintain email deliverability standards including DKIM/SPF/DMARC configuration and suppression list management.
- Partner with Sales Ops to align on routing SLAs, lead acceptance criteria, and feedback loops between Marketing and Sales.
Analytics, Reporting & Process Improvement
- Build and maintain dashboards in Salesforce and Excel/Google Sheets that provide visibility into pipeline health, funnel conversion, campaign performance, and marketing-sourced revenue for both Enterprise ABM and SDR/BDR programs.
- Track and report on core Marketing Ops KPIs - MQL volume and quality, lead response time, email deliverability, database growth, program ROI, and funnel velocity.
- Analyze GTM performance data to surface trends, identify bottlenecks, and deliver actionable recommendations to Marketing and Sales leadership.
- Map, document, and continuously improve GTM workflows - eliminating manual effort, designing cleaner team handoffs, and championing adoption of best practices through training and documentation.
What you’ll need:
- 4+ years of experience in Marketing Operations or Revenue/Sales Operations within a B2B SaaS organization.
- Hands-on marketing automation platform (MAP) administration experience required - we currently use Marketo, and Marketo Certified Expert (MCE) certification is a plus, but deep experience in a comparable platform (e.g., HubSpot, Pardot, Eloqua) with the ability to transfer those skills is equally valued.
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including object relationships, report building, and lead/contact management.
- Experience with LeanData or comparable lead routing and lead-to-account matching tools is a plus.
- Hands-on experience supporting or executing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs.
- Familiarity with DKIM/SPF/DMARC configuration and email deliverability best practices.
- Solid understanding of GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets - pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, and data modeling.
- Familiarity with UTM tracking, campaign attribution models, and multi-touch attribution concepts.
- Proven ability to build reports and dashboards that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- A proactive, curious mindset - always looking for ways to improve processes, performance, and the systems that power them.
