Product Owner - AI/ML Platform

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a pragmatic, data-driven Associate Product Manager for our AI/ML Platform. This is a role designed for a PM with 2-4 years of experience who possesses a deep technical foundation and a passion for solving complex supply chain problems through predictive AI and deterministic machine learning.

We don’t "shove AI" into our products for the sake of trends. We build AI-driven features that move the revenue needle and provide our customers with a degree of trust and reliability that is mandatory in the perishables industry. You will have the autonomy to work directly with engineering, data science, and customer-facing teams (CS, Ops, Finance) to ship high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution & Shipping: Take full ownership of the product lifecycle for AI-driven features, with a goal of shipping at least three major enhancements or new modules in your first year that drive internal efficiency or revenue.
• Pragmatic AI Strategy: Identify opportunities to apply predictive AI and deterministic ML to solve "real-world" supply chain gaps—focusing on certainty of output and customer trust.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the bridge between technical engineering teams and business stakeholders (Finance, CS, Ops) to ensure AI initiatives are aligned with P&L goals.
• Data Analysis & Modeling: Use SQL and large-scale data analysis to validate hypotheses, monitor model performance, and identify the "signal" within iTradeNetwork’s massive datasets.
• Roadmap Contribution: Assist in defining the AI/ML Platform roadmap, ensuring that platform enhancements are scalable, robust, and seamlessly integrated into the broader iTradeNetwork ecosystem.
• Quality Advocacy: Lean on your past experience with data quality to ensure our models are built on a foundation of clean, reliable data, collaborating with data engineering to optimize our "data-to-feature" pipeline.

What you’ll need:

• 2-4 years of professional Product Management experience, ideally within a platform, data-heavy, or B2B SaaS environment.
• A formal education in a technical field (Computer Science, Data Science, AI etc.) OR a professional background as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or Supply Chain Analyst prior to moving into Product.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and large-scale data analysis. You should be comfortable using Excel for modeling and leveraging modern tools (like LLMs or IDEs like Cursor, Claude) to accelerate your technical workflows.
• You have "lived and breathed" the challenges of data validation and cleaning; you know how to spot "garbage in" before it ruins a model’s output.
• A proven ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value. You care more about "moving the needle" than using the flashiest new tech.
• Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to hold your own in a technical deep-dive with engineers while clearly explaining the "why" to a Finance or Ops leader.
• A self-starter who thrives with autonomy but knows when to seek guidance from leadership to ensure alignment with the broader company vision.

Base Compensation: $90,000 - $109,000
