JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Sr. SDET QA Engineer job to oversee all aspects of software and product testing for one or multiple projects within the company. This will include developing test strategies, drawing up test scenarios, identifying defects, and reviewing QA reports. The position requires extensive experience in analytics, high-level problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage testing activities in a project. The Sr. SDET QA Engineer will ensure the smooth running of the QA tasks and ultimately customer satisfaction.
The Sr.SDET QA Engineer will work closely with QA Manager, QA Leads, Product Managers and Professional Service/Customer support teams to deliver best-in-class solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the software/product designers to determine and define quality assurance parameters.
- Document the tests for a given story in test management tool (TestRail )
- Timely execution of QE tests meeting high level of product quality
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using ITN internal framework. (Java based )
- Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
- Conducting analysis checks on product specifications.
- Reviewing Quality Assurance reports.
- Ensuring the successful deployment of products.
- Responding to requests from the design team and management.
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback and create test scenarios and test plans.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and provide support to customers during acceptance testing
What you’ll need:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field required
- 6+ years of work experience in Java, web applications and Scripting required
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Self-starter, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational/time-management and multitasking skills, and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines for multiple projects
- Experience of Agile or Continuous Integration methodologies
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Proficient experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Proficient experience with automated testing tools (preferably Selenium or any other open source tool)
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements for CI/CD
- Seasoned experience with modern/industry-leading Test Automation Tools
- Competent experience in cloud services
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Manual/Automated Native mobile application testing (Android, iOS) experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of food service or hospitality industry a plus
