JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Vice President of People & Culture, reporting directly to the CEO, will be critical in helping iTradeNetwork continue building the People function. This role's strategic objective will largely focus on enhancing a culture that elevates the people experience, continues building HR policies and supports business objectives. This position will serve as the main point of contact for employees and new hires, lead HR operations and keep a finger on the pulse of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes and HRIS technologies.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, a builder with exceptional communication skills and hands on experience in culture and organizational development. Working hand in hand with the CEO and partnering with our leadership team, you will help us grow and scale while sustaining our focus on our mission to be the premier software provider for the industry’s largest network of food and beverage companies, building the smartest, freshest, most resilient supply chains of today and tomorrow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leadership to understand and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy as it relates to talent needs, recruiting, retention and succession planning
- Stewards the company culture and leads initiatives to ensure that it permeates every aspect of the business
- Designs and implements every aspect of the employee journey, from employer brand all the way to off boarding
- Implements organizational efficiencies to support and drive scale and growth
- Builds and maintains Job Architectures, performance management, and compensation planning
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and HRIS technologies. Monitors and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, in addition to internal and external audits
- Manages the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, hiring and onboarding. Collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for open roles
- Recommend the development and implementation of HR-related policies and procedures
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations
What you’ll need:
- 10 years of related human resources experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Sociology or related discipline required
- Proven track record leading transformational projects in areas such as: Culture, employee experience, organizational development
- Experience in all areas of HR operations: onboarding, engagement, talent acquisition, learning and development, internal communications, disciplinary matters, dispute resolution and investigations
- Deep knowledge and understanding of employment laws and HR compliance, especially in California
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to take initiative and work efficiently with little direction
- Great team player with a collaborative mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Advanced degree is an advantage
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent certification preferred

Base Compensation: $220,000-$250,000
